I have been a full -time professional photographer since 1996. Before that I was a photo enthusiast who put myself through art school by photographing weddings and family portraits. With my diploma in the visual arts from Alberta College of Art and Design (Now University of the Arts) I began to work with commercial clients in the oilfield and various newspapers and magazines in Alberta.

 I have continued to work with and develop strong relationships with clients like The Calgary Herald and Tourism Calgary for over 27 years, while extending my professional client base regularly.

 While COVID was a difficult time, I managed to pivot my business with retail clients who needed an online presence to survive this crisis. With the extra time I have picked up my camera again for personal work and began photographing wildlife and scenery in Southern Alberta. A particular highlight was a trip to Yellowstone National Park. With my new found enthusiasm I found my work refreshed and a new commitment for the craft.
